The county wines display regional styles, thus they present a marvelous opportunity to explore California's varied terroir.
Our taste in Merlot runs toward the Old World discipline of Bordeaux, the place in Sonoma to pursue this ideal is the Carneros region, whose bayfront breezes and chilling fog keep things firm and well-structured.
