  • Michael and Arlene Bernstein purchased a 40 acre prune farm on Mt Veeder in 1965.
  • The first vineyard was started with a bundle of cast-off vineyard cuttings.
  • Michael Bernstein was the first vintner in Napa Valley to plant one property to all five of the Bordeaux varietals
