2007 Marlborough Pinot Noir
Grapes for the Kim Crawford Wines Pinot Noir are harvested from various, hand selected
vineyards throughout the winegrowing region of Marlborough, New Zealand. The Pinot
Noir bunches were destemmed, introduced into a cold-soaked for up to five days then
warmed and inoculated. During fermentation the Pinot Noir received daily punch-downs to
coax every drop of flavor from the grapes. After malolactic fermentation the wine was aged
just over five months.
