Tasting Notes

2007 Marlborough Pinot Gris

A mixture of exposed and shaded fruit are hand-selected from premium vineyards within the
Marlborough winegrowing region. The exposed fruit adds weight and mouth-feel, while the
shaded fruit adds intense aromatics to the wine. A small portion of the wine was barrel
fermented for four months and also experienced partial malolactic fermentation. Together
the oak and the malolactic fermentation add richness and complexity in the mouth of this
bright, zesty wine.

Appearance Pale straw with a green tint

Aroma Ripe apple and pear are accented by soft nutty and butterscotch notes.

Flavor Stone fruit and subtle oak lead to a full and rich palate.
