Tasting Notes

2007 DRY RIESLING
Drylands Dry Riesling is a direct reflection of the terroir where the grapes are grown. The fruit for this wine is grown in dry, deep, fine alluvium soils in Marlborough’s Golden Triangle that encourage a long, cool ripening period.
The 2007 harvest in Marlborough was “stunning”. Despite frosts and cool weather early in the season, Marlborough enjoyed a late summer and autumn of long, warm, sunny days with cool nights and little rain. These conditions were perfect for fruit ripening and flavor development, ensuring a harvest of outstanding quality.
